About Me

Hello there! I am a post-graduate student in University of Florida's Educational Specialist (Ed.S) Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with emphasis in Educational Technology. I have been happily married for 17 years and have an amazing 15 year old son. We have two amazing puppies, Bandit and Thor. We enjoy teaching and traveling. We are fulfilled listening to my son play music through marching band, concert, and jazz bands.

Education and Work Experience

Education, whether in-classroom instruction or curriculum development and design, is where my passion rests. I have been in the U.S. Air Force for 18 years. For the last 3 years, I have been an Instructor in a Graduate Professional Military Education program for the U.S. Air Force. Our program is designed for mid-career military officers from the U.S. military and over 70 international partners. Prior to my military career I have taught Social Studies at the middle and high school levels. In addition, I have experience in corporate business curriculum development and instruction.

Aviation is a wonderous thing. Using Adobe Animate to a create free flowing animation was challening. However, even short animations can have educational value. Here is an example of a short animation project from my class to show the Science of Airfoils.
